decoration ideas for 6th grade graduation

okay,i can't believe i'm saying this, but the school yearis almost over. that means, for all of us room moms and parent volunteers, it is time to start planning theend of the school year party. [ winces ] okay, don't stress, because i'm here to help you. i'm gonna show youmy favorite room mom party hacks that will save youa ton of money

and make party planninga breeze. let's get started. so, what's a partywithout ice cream? uh,not one that i want to go to. but have you ever triedto scoop ice cream for a long lineof hungry kindergartners? it's not fun, my friends. so the night before, scoop the ice creamand put them in a muffin cup.

you can place a bunch of themon a baking sheet, put them back in the freezer, and when it's timefor the party, everybody can have ice creamat the same time and nobody gets angry because they're waiting for youto scoop. but if you're doing somethingreally fun like adding all kindsof toppings, put all the toppingsin a muffin tin.

you can have a variety of things that they can puton their ice cream. it's so easy for traveland super easy for a cleanup. don't spend a fortuneon personalized water bottles when you can makeyour own labels using duct tape. the patterns are wild and crazyand really add a personal touch to everything at your party. hot dogs are alwaysa crowd pleaser when you're feedinga lot of people,

and your slow cooker is a greatway to cook a lot at one time. but rather thanjust tossing them in, stand the hot dogs upwhen you place them in, and you'll be able to fit somany more into your slow cooker. so, a photo booth is a hitat any party, but don't pay someone to set oneup at your kid's school. you can put it togetherwith just a few things from the dollar store, like this backdrop. this is just a tablecloth.

and i also grabbed a bunchof crazy hats and sunglasses that the kids are gonna lovetaking their pictures with, and you can just aska parent volunteer to snap a few photosand even turn those into favors. so, you can makereally cute signs, like this one, for promotion. "here i come, 2nd grade!" or i love the idea of askingeverybody what they want to be when they grow up and turning itinto a sign, like this one.

"i want to build robots."that's what my son said. how stinking cute is that? an even easier favoris if you grab a whole bunch of beach ballsfrom the dollar store and write, "we had a ball in kindergarten." and then ask everyoneto sign their names. it's such an easy favorthat everybody will love. all right.get to party planning, and for more mom hacks,
