welcome back to diy no need to cry with ivelisse. easy 4th of july diy ideas/upcycle all the materials that i use for this diyare listed in the description box below. i’m using three empty sauce jars. i save all of my glass jars, that’s whyi have three of the same sizes. so start saving your jars now and by julyyou should have them, or go to that refrigerator door, that has all of those expired products, that you’ve been procrastinating to clean, and get your jars from there. let's get started.
using blue acrylic paint and a round spongebrush i painted the whole jar except the very rim. i then painted one white, and the last one red. i gave mine three coats, letting them drybetween each one. once they’re all dry, give all three jarsa coat of mod podge and let them fully dry. using a marker, i drew on the fireworks. make a cross. then an x slightly smaller than the cross.
then add little lines future out in-betweeneach of those. now continue to do that all around the jarplacing them randomly and making them all different sizes. take some white glue and trace the lines. now pour glitter all over the glue. tap the excess off and do the same to thenext. glitter all of them. i used blue, red and silver for the whitejar,
red, silver, white for the blue jar, and blue, light blue and silver for the redjar. once they are all fully dry, take a dry brushand brush as much of the excess glitter off as you can. don’t be afraid to get in there. if it’s fully dry, it should be fine. the glitter will stick all over the jar becauseit was coated with mod podge, but get as much of it off as you can. it gives it a cool, after explosion effect.
after i used the brush, i started scrapingwith my nail until i was happy with it. it looks good with the glitter like that butnot if it’s too much.you want to be able to see the nice defined lines you made. lastly, using a hot glue gun and red blingribbon from the dollar tree i covered the rim as you see here. do this to all of them and you're done. these came out so cute, exactly as i had picturedthem. you can put all your utensils in them likeyou see here. these are great if you’re having a 4th ofjuly cookout or an indoor 4th of july dinner
and want a little something extra for theoccasion. you can also use these with flowers if you'dlike and make a beautiful table centerpiece. add other decorations and you’ll have anamazing table for your 4th of july cookout or dinner. if you want to see how i made the other set. the link to that video will be posted in thedescription box once it is uploaded or if you’re subscribed, click that notificationbell next to the subscribed button and it will notify you as soon as i upload a video. thanks for watching!.. and if you’re newto my channel, i hope you consider subscribing
