arrrgh! g'day mateys! i am the asian piratebill, coming to you from bed bath & beyond. watching a lot of these youtubevideos like the nomadic fanatic and the russos and keep your daydream,it's glaringly apparent that when you decide to live in an rv, one of thebiggest problems you're going to face is you're going to be extremely limited inspace and/or resources. so i thought i would take a jaunt through the storehere and see if there might be products in here that might make rv living alittle more easier. so hang tight and let's see what we can find. all right... sothe first product i found is a unique drying rack with a drying mat. it's putout by udry and i'm going to show it
to you real quick. as you can see here, itgoes for about twenty dollars and comes with a rack and a large drying mat. andas you can see in the picture there, it makes it easy for you to dry your dishesreal quick after you're finished washing them. and then, when you're all donedrying your dishes you can just wrap it all up together and store it awaysomewhere tight. all right so let's see what else we can find.okay so i found a couple of collapsible colanders. you know sometimes when youare cooking your pasta or something and you just are cooking a little bit ofmeat. and you might need to drain off your pasta you know you need a colanderand colanders typically are these big
bulky items but they have a couple ofthem here one is a three and a half cup capacity and one is a four quartcapacity collapsible colander. and i'm just going to pan around so you can seethem real quick okay so those are the progressivecollapsible mini calendars and as i said they're three and a half cup capacityand then squish here has a four quart capacity colander. as you can see, theyfold pretty flat. the big one there, the squishretails for about $17... okay. okay... so as we know sometimes when you'reliving in an rv, propane can be a very valuable commodity especially if you'reliving up north and you need it to heat
your rv or if you need to you know ifyou need to keep your refrigerator running, propane is pretty important inyour rv living. what i've found is they have an induction cooker with acasserole dish that plugs into your electrical. it's very economical as faras energy goes and it's a lot safer than your conduction cooktops. induction is a lot safer because the surface cools down almostimmediately, so let me show you what that looks like. as you see, you have a basewith controls and then you have the cooker with a basket and the lid andthat's retails right now for about $119.99. at bed, bath and beyond. now if there'sa given in rv living, it's going to be
laundry and what they also have here for$20 it's called a pop load collapse and store space-saving laundry basket andwhat it is is it is a collapsible laundry basket. so once you're done doinglaundry and you don't need it anymore you can collapse it down and then storeit in a drawer somewhere under your bed or somewhere else so let me show that toyou. as you can see it just collapses right downand you can store it right under your bed. all right moving on... okay so i'm inthe garbage can section and as you know garbage is a messy, disgusting subjectthat we have to talk about. i found a couple of unique options and i'm justgoing to show them to you real quick. the
first one is called a sunbeam trash rackand basically it just mounts hangs over your kitchen cabinet door. and youcan mount a garbage bag in there. i'm just going to show that to you realquick. it looks like that takes standard garbage bags.another option is they have this rack that hangs over your cabinet door and itholds grocery bags. so again you have a plethora of garbageoptions. they also have the smaller garbage cans that just sit on the flooror if you have a cabinet they would fit into and they have the little footpedals to open up. alright i think that's enough on garbage. let's see what else wecan find. all right so one other item
that i could think of finding for youguys is um you know... plastic ware storage, food storage solutions are a little hard.you know you can get your cheapo stuff that nests and they're good for keepingthings neat and tidy but you're still they're still kind of high one coolsolution i found is a collapsible storage bowl set by progressive andthese go for $14.99 as you can see it's got three different bowl sizes with lids.and obviously they just collapse down when you're not using them. okay so as weknow not every rv comes with a washer and dryer set up. a lot of times you haveto use your kitchen sink or if you're lucky, you might have like a portablewashing machine that you can do a few
items at a time but drying your clothescan be a problem and storing that also could be an issue so they have a coupleof different ideas here for drying your clothes. what's neat is they all prettymuch fold for easy storage. so when i show these to you real quick as i panthem. first of all you have the tripod air dryer which looks like you can justhang stuff on and then over here studio 3b has a two tier clothes dryerand what's neat about that item is it folds up for you when you're not dryingyour clothes and makes it easy for you to store it now if you're like me andmost americans, you love your breakfast sandwiches in the morning. and one of thebiggest hassles is cooking up all your
ingredients separately and then afterthat you have a big cleanup you might have three or four frying pans that youhave to wash and it seems to me that kind of washing would severely take upyour fresh water supply as well as fill up your gray tank. so hamilton beach cameout with a great product a few years ago. and basically it is a breakfast sandwichmaker and i'm going to show you of the product in the box so you know what tolook for again it's a hamilton beach breakfast sandwich maker and with thisdevice you just put all your ingredients in the appropriate slot and it makesyour breakfast sandwich in as little as five minutes. so that kind of cookingtime is going to save you on energy and
you're not going to have as many dishesto wash in your rv. and as you see here here's the actual product, and itjust has layers so you put your bread down there, your meat and your cheese andyour eggs and it assembles everything. not quite sure how it works exactly. ithink it cooks all the ingredients and then when you're ready to assemble yoursandwich you pull these tabs on it and it takes all the bottoms out andassembles your sandwich. it's a pretty cool idea. so one of the things i wouldconsider is canned goods. and you know sometimes you just want to be able toheat up your canned goods or maybe you might want to make it like hot dip foryour chips or something you don't want
to use up the microwave.you know microwave quality is not that great. when you can use a crock-pot. butyou don't want a huge...you don't want to use a big crock pot when you're justheating up something for yourself. so tru has come out with a point six five quartmini crock pot and i'm going to show you here real quick and it retails for $9.99. again that is the true...point sixfive quart capacity mini crock and here's the product unboxed and as youcan see you could probably just fit a good size can good in there. and thatgoes for 9.99. okay so this next item is for all the coffee lovers out there. andyou know with countertop space being
what it is, and storage spaces... well if youlike your coffee and you don't want to take up a lot of room with a full sizedcoffeemaker my recommendation is to go with a french press. these do come invarious sizes. for the most part if you can just need it for one or two peoplewe can use get away with either three cup variety or a 32 ounce variety offrench press and all you do is you put your coffee grounds in the press andthen you add your water and you press down on it and it separates, it infusesthe water with the coffee grounds. so you have to put boiling water in it so youstill have to have a way to boil your water. but basically that's what theylook like and they have different sizes
so the three cup one is 29.99and then your 32 ounce capacity is $39.99 and then the big granddaddy is59.99 that gives you a way to make yourself coffee in the morning withouthaving to use up a big coffee maker on your countertop.now one item i absolutely cannot live without in my life is a tervis tumbler.and i basically use this cup for everything. i mean there's nowhere thati'd go, where i don't have my tervis with me. and what's nice about tervis isthey're insulated. so there is no condensation on the outside of the cupand it keeps things cold or hot pretty well and what i love about tervis isthey have a lifetime guarantee. so if you
ever break a tervis tumbler, all yougot to do is take it into a tervis store and they'll replace it for you. they'llgive you a credit for it and then you can just swap it out. i... you know on myprevious video i had to swap out a tervis because my last one developed acrack in it. and wonderful thing is is they have tervis products in bed bathand beyond. so there's just a sampling of some of the tervis' that they carryhere both suitable for your male and female persuasion. they also sellaccessories like lids and they're all based on different themes like the harrypotter theme and disney and it looks like they have star wars as well. andthey also have sport bottles and
they have some featuring popular sportsteams. gotta love your tervis and they're just great to carry around withyou. so obviously in your bedroom your closet space is at a premium too. i... i'veseen a bunch of rvs where the wardrobe is just very very small. i just foundthese great items here. they're multi-tiered clothing hangers and theyhang... they have hangers at the top like you would be able to hang on that bar.but like for example, they have a six tier blouse tree and they also have aswing arm trouser rack that holds multip... four sets of trousers and i'mjust going to pan down real quick so you can see them. but using this...youknow you can stack multiple items on
this that one hanger.so up top here, is your six tier blouse tree for your lady's blouses and thendown here is your friction swing arm trouser rack. so what i believe happensis these arms swing out and you can load up to four trousers on it and hang it onone spot in your in your wardrobe. so that's one way to expand your space inyour wardrobe. okay... in the bathroom storage might be an issue too. you knowthe majority of the showers that i've been in, in an rv is very tight to beginwith so these might not actually fit in the shower but if there's a corner inyour bathroom or the rv where you need storage and you just can't fit anythingelse because then it becomes a waste of
space. so the one thing i noticed is theyhave these different pole caddies that a mount in a corner and if you can fitthem in your shower... great. but let me just show you some of the options that youhave. you have a never rust premium aluminum tension corner caddy and that'sby titan. and basically it's a rod, spring-loaded rod that you just mountyour items in the shower or anywhere else that'll fit in and it holds it inplace and you can store your your toiletries your bath stuff. you also havea nicer one here it's an oversized three-tier pole caddy with extra largeshelves and this one expands... i guess they expand up to ten feet so if youhave a ten at least ten feet you've got
some storage options here alright ithink we're just about done here. and while you're at bed bath & beyond.., i'mfrom virginia and the one thing that i'm proud of that comes fromvirginia are our peanuts and if you are a peanut loverdo yourself a favor when you go shopping at bed bath & beyond and find theirvirginia peanuts it's from the peanut shopand they come in containers like this. they have sea salt and pepper and justplain lightly salted. i'm telling you those canisters of peanuts areincredible and they're not like anything you're going to pick up in the grocerystore. so if you love real virginia
peanuts, definitely pick up a canisterwhen you're shopping at bed bath & beyond. okay youtubers well i thinkthat's going to wrap it up here at bed bath & beyond in naples. one item thati'd like to add to the list that i didn't see here i noticed that a lot ofour viewers especially those who have bought a used onethey don't really feel comfortable drinking, drinking water out of the rvbecause you don't know if the freshwater tank has been taken care of or if it'sbeen sanitized. so basically one item that i would suggest if you can find itis um they have these personal water bottles that have a built-in filtrationsystem. i've seen them in some grocery
stores or you might be able to find themonline but basically they're like brita filter pitchers but their personal sizeso you all you do is uh you know you keep up the filter in there and you fillit up with water and as soon as you drink out of it you've got instantpurified water. i didn't see any here at bed bath & beyond but if you're a littleiffy about drinking from the faucet of your rv and you don't want to have ahuge brita pitcher you know these personal water bottles are a great ideaand if you can find them that'd be great. one thing i did see here too in relationto that is if you like flavored water they have these bottles here where youcan put fruit in the infuser and it
infuses your water with with likewhatever fruit you put in there so that's a way to have a flavored waterwithout any of the nasty stuff that you get in soda so definitely check that out.well that's it for me for now. i am the asian pirate. i'd like to thank the staffat this bed bath & beyond. they were very helpful. they had a lot of greatinformation to give me and i just encourage you to go check out thesestores because you never know what you're going to find walking throughthem. this is the asian pirate signing off...arrrgh!!!
