how to make a unique lampshade using cardboard and medical bandage this is a very unique diy lampshade that you can make at home and use as a home decor or night lamp this creative lamp can also b made on diwali or christmas. unique thing about this lamp is that it is illuminated with the help of a mobile charger! things you need... bandage, aluminium wire, scissors, fevibond glue, cutter, divider tool, pencil, ruler, pliers mount board, acrylic colors & brush, balloons, glue gun, led lights, mobile charger, adhesive, electric wire take a mount board and draw a circle as shown here. draw an inner circle as well.
now draw the markings on both the circles as shown and cut it using cutter. we need two such pieces. now again take the mount board and mark the distances as shown. cut out the long strip from the mount board like this. paste the strip on the mount board piece as shown here. paste one more strip as well. take a mount board and draw the markings on it as shown. cut the outlines using a cutter. draw some more markings and cut it as well.
now paste the strips on the mount board cut out piece as shown. now paste the semicircular arrangement on this board take a craft wire and cut it into two pieces. fix the wires on the design like this. make a glue solution and cut out small pieces of bandages as shown here. apply the glue solution all over the design. now paste the cut out bandage pieces on the design as shown here. apply more glue solution if required. let it dry completely. take a cello tape and wrap it around the wire of the design as shown here. again give a coating of another layer of bandage like this
fix the wire to the design like this for illumination. now cover the open wires using bandage as shown here. this is how the arrangement will look like. take some inflated small balloons and prepare a glue solution. apply glue on the balloons and paste the cut out bandages on these balloons. deflate the balloon and we will get the shape like this. paint the shapes using orange acrylic color as shown here. now paint the entire design using black acrylic color like this. apply some golden shades on the black painted surface for more brightness.
now take the colored patterns and fix it on our lampshade as shown here. fix the electric bulb inside the flower like designs like this and fix them on the lampshade. just do some simple electrical connections as shown here. take an old mobile charger and cut out the charging portion of it. use the loose wires of the mobile charger to make a connection with the lampshade as shown here. seal the connections using cello tapes to prevent shocks. now connect the charger to a socket and see the bulbs glow. wow!! your beautiful cardboard lamp is now ready. thanks for watching and happy crafting!
