there are endless options for decoratingunique and beautiful eggs for easter. i'll show you some ideas to get started and some of our favorite craft egg projects. first we have the clay pot placeholder, where we've taken two tiny clay pots and glued them together. we added a craft egg in the center and cut the top off using a hot knife. add a touch of floral and write your guest's name in chalk. next we have the galvanized and gemstone eggs. at michaels, we carry these easter decor eggs in lavender and other fun colors as well. simply decorate them with self adhesiverhinestones and paper flowers. these galvanized eggs are really neatand we just took our plain white craft eggs,

painted them black and layered themwith silver paint and silver leafing to get this cool effect. to display them, simply paint the carton that they came in. these chalkboard and doodle eggs would be so cute on an easter tree. the chalkboard eggs come in fun bright colors. use a chalkboard marker so you can reuse these year after year. we used white but you can use any color you like. use a damp washcloth to wipe it off if you mess up and simply start over. for a more challenging project are these doodle eggs. we started with plain white craft eggs and if you want them colored, simply use regular egg dye. we used a variety of markers for the design and added jewelry findings and ribbon to turn it into an ornament. these embroidered egg place cards are really fun and you can make them to match any easter tablescape.

once again, we've started with our plain white craft egg and used regular easter egg dye to color it. we used a hot knife to cut off the back and attached it to the frame. we've embroidered the name on the egg but to make this project easier, you can also use a marker. these are some unique ideas to get you started and there are more easter projects on michaels.com.
