i'm rosalynn daniels, and i'm the mother of a beautiful, vibrant two-year-old who is ready to make the steps from out of her baby girl nursery into a big-girl toddler room. so i took a cue from her favorite activity which is reading and i partnered up with a company, urban walls,
to create a whimsical reading area that's worthy of any big girl's imagination. here's how i did it. so i pulled from items that i already had. i mean she's a little kid so i don't want to go crazy with this room transformation, and i know that we''re going to be changing this room again,
so i wanted to use some of the items that i already had and try to find some ways to breathe new life into it. i took some old picture frames and repurposed them into something a little bit more useful. a hair bow stand. [music continues] while the hand-painted berries and clouds on my daughter's walls are absolutely beautiful,
they just don't give that wow factor that i truly need. but i do know one thing that gives a wow factor, and that's giant flower decals. what i love about urban walls, is that their decals are easy to install. they make a huge impact and they're extremely versatile. if you change your mind tomorrow,
you can change the decals tomorrow. it's really that simple. for additional storage, i decided to use an owl basket to serve as decoration and also to hold some of her extra toys. her floors are pretty bare with a neutral carpet, so i decided to add a soft pink rug with a sewn pattern that doesn't demand too much attention. with a few added accessories
and some last-minute touches, her room is complete and she loves it. {music playing} as you can see my daughter is pleasantly pleased with her new big girl reading area. if you like what you see, don't forget to like, comment and share this video with someone you think is awesome.
until next time i'm rosalynn daniels.
