[ music playing ] i'm thinking about remodeling my bathroomwhat's it going to cost me? the challenge i find when talking with potentialclients is their understanding of what it cost to remodel their bathrooms. as consumers we can get overwhelmed by thedifferent areas of information we get from
television, newspapers, radio and the internet. there are several questions i like to askin helping guide the customer to making the best decision for them. do they have a budget? do they have additional monies for upgradesor alterations, are they going to general contract the job themselves or higher a companyto handle all aspects of their project? what grade of materials and fixtures are theylooking to put in their new bathrooms. so here are some guidelines for pricing werecommend to our customers. powder rooms generally are about 5 ft x 5ft start around $5,000.
hall bathrooms or guest baths can range from $15,000to $20,000. master bathrooms usually start around $30,000and can exceed $40,000 depending on selections, size and scope of work in the bathroom. i think that most consumers don’t realizethe intangibles that are a part of the remodeling process such as drawings, permits, inspections,product selections, experience and the list goes on. i think it is important that you educate yourselfbefore the remodeling process and not after, that can be a much more expensive experience. thanks again for joining us.
