how to make newspaper bonsai tree for home decoration this bonsai tree is made using waste newspapers and plaster of paris (pop) this is the best out of waste diy home decor craft that you can make for your home. things you need... ruler, cutter, pencil & divider tool, scissors, adhesive, newspaper mount board, plastic pipe or any cardboard pipe, aluminium wire, styrofoam balls, acrylic colors & brushes, glue gun ice cream sticks, plaster of paris, sand, decorative plastic leaves & grass take a mount board and draw a circle on it as shown. draw 2 circles of the same radius.
cut out both the circles using a cutter. now mark some more points on the mount board as shown and cut along the markings. now take one circle and paste the long strip on it as shown. now take the other circle and paste the same on this arrangement like this. now take a pipe shaped object and mark the markings on it as shown. cut it draw a small circle at the center and cut it. fix the pipe in the cut out circular portion. now take the aluminium wire and fix it inside the pipe to make branches of the tree. take cello tape and paste it at the base as shown here.
take a newspaper and cut it into small pieces. make a thick paste with ceramic powder and water. now dip the newspaper piece into this mixture and paste it on the pipe and the aluminium wire as shown here. let it dry and remove the excess ceramic paste along with the cello tape using a cutter. make a glue solution and apply it all over the tree design. now apply some glue at the base of the craft and stick the sand to it. take different shades of acrylic brown color and paint the tree. paint the base as well as shown here. now take the red paint and color the thermocol balls with it to form the cherries. let it dry.
stick the artificial leaves to the branches of the tree like this. now paste the cherries on the trees like this. stick the artificial grass ta the base of the tree as shown. now take the icecream sticks and paste it on the sides of the circular base like a fencing. now paste some grass and artificial leaves near the fences as well. stick some pebbles and small stones near the tree to give it a realistic look. wow!! your beautiful newspaper bonsai tree is now ready. thanks for watching and happy crafting!
