how to make colorful diya's stand for diwali decoration this is a nice recycled craft made using waste cardboard. things you need... cardboard, cutter,pencil, scissors, ruler, color papers, felt papers, decorative tape, craft glue, glue stick, glue gun glitter paper, decorative stones & pearls draw semi-circle shape on a cardboard and cut it. draw scalp shape on cardboard and cut it. put this shape on another cardboard and cut it. now cut out a thin strip of cardboard from the designed cardboard sheet as shown.
mark and cut the cardboard base as shown here. mark the measurements on the cardboard as shown. cut these shapes as shown here. cut the square pieces of cardboard measuring 4*4 cm mark the design on the red felt paper as shown and cut it. paste this felt paper design on the cardboard. now mark the outline of the pattern on the paper and cut it. paste this paper pattern on the cardboard shape. similarly cut and paste the felt paper on the other side of the cardboard.
mark the square pieces of felt paper and cut it as shown. now paste the decorative tape at the edges of the square pieces of the cardboard. paste the felt paper square pieces on the cardboard pieces. arrange and paste both the patterns as shown here. paste the square pieces on the steps-like pattern. now cut circular shape cut out from the glitter paper as shown. paste this circle at the center as shown. decorate the circle with golden pearls around it. decorate the center of the circle with decorative stones and beads as shown.
