barbie birthday party ideas video invitations i got everything i needed fromparty city, starting with these cool barbie invitations. the pinksunglasses were tres chic. i told everyone to bring their favoritebarbies 'cause we were going to have a fashion show, and everyonewas going to get "all dolled up." party favors alden made sure the favors we weregoing to give out at the end of the party would make the cut. thebracelet, ring and necklace were
cool barbie fashion accents, whilethe puzzle watch and pinball games added some fun to the mix, and themini comb was the perfect thing to complete the all doll'd up look.definitely a "10" all around. room and table decorations on the day of her birthday, i hadmy parents take alden to breakfast so i could decorate the diningroom. i wanted to surprise her. the room was "pinked out" fromfloor to ceiling. i put up the streamers and the super cute barbiebanner in no time at all. the barbie plates, cups and napkinsmade a very colorful fashion
ensemble... and the barbie centerpieces werethe perfect accessory. needless to say, the room got thedesired effect. balloons i wanted to set the stage for ourall doll'd up party right off the bat. a barbie glamour balloonbouquet met our guests and their dolls in the entryway. the pinkand silver balloons were very shiny and stylish. and the barbieballoon meant that barbie herself was greeting them at the door.
party activities the first order of business was toget dolled up for the fashion show. party city had exactly what i waslooking for. the girls loved the tiaras and hairponies. a couple of the girls put on nailpolish... ...while the other girls madethemselves fabulous with glitter glasses and lip gloss. costumes and dress up the birthday girl got her ownspecial outfit.
she loved the elegant pink andsilver feather boa. it was so soft... ...and the super sparkly barbietiara studded with colorful jewels made her feel like the queen offashion week. when they were done accessorizingwe put on a fashion show. alden was the judge. i took pictures tosend home with all the girls. birthday cupcakes then it was time for my littlefashionistas to dine in barbie style...
alden loved her barbie candles.there were shoes... a purse... they totally carried on the fashiontheme... i brought in the cupcakes on thisvery elegant cupcake tower i got at party city. it looked likesomething a supermodel would use. i loved the silver spirals. pinata then it was time for the pinata! iopted for the oh-so-fashionable barbie purse pinata. the colorfulpull-ribbons were a "sophisticated" alternative to the traditionalapproach. every wonder what was in
barbie's purse? lots of goodies naturally. pretty soon it was time for thebarbie brigade to call it a night. everyone left with their hands fullof barbie party favors and a smile on their face. it was a party that barbie herselfwould've loved. thanks to barbie and party city, mylittle doll now has her own special memories to cherish. and i have afew more.
