preheat your ovento 180 degrees celsius. first, divide yourgingerbread dough into six portions. roll out a portion on alightly floured surface to a 4mm-thick disc. use a 12x13cmrectangle template to make the walls. cut in witha heart cutter
to allow forthe windows. use a small, sharp knifeto cut out a door. place all the gingerbreadon lined trays. bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. set asideto cool completely. spread the roof pieces evenly with a thin layer
of royal icing. dip into a tray ofhundreds and thousands to evenly coat. set aside. spread the wallswith icing. arrange sour strapsover the wall. add piping aroundthe heart windows with a 3mm plain nozzle. also, pipe dots of icing
around the doorframeand front windows. pipe or spread the icing over the bottom edge and side edge of the wallsand front and back. join pieces together using astraight-sided glass to support the sides. set aside forone hour to set. spread a little icingover the top of the wall
and sides ofthe pitched roof. attach the roof pieces. place a glass under thebottom edge of the roof to support it. set aside for one houror until completely set. pipe the top of the roofand add m&m's. use kitchen scissorsto cut any remaining sour strap into triangles to create buntingfor the front door.
attach a gingerbread man. leave to set.
