BATHROOM CABINET STORAGE HACKS

BATHROOM CABINET STORAGE HACKS

hey, i'm amanda, and here's how i like to workwhen i'm styling a bathroom shelf display. the first thing is to look atwhat colour your bathroom wall is- -and then match it with objects andtextiles with a similar colour palette. here we're working with a concrete walland grey tones. then i start with the middle shelf. this will give a good base to work from andhelp to make the whole display more balanced. first things to go on are the"must have" bathroom items- -hairbrushes, handtowels, lotion - that sort of thing. storing them in glasses keeps them togetherand helps complement your display.

and using the middle shelfmeans they're easy to reach. then on to the "must haves" you don't want toshow, like say toilet paper or grooming products. i find these work well stored in boxesor closed containers. and placed lower down so they don't take overthe look of the rest of your display. then balance with some open baskets. next, i like to add textiles on the uppershelves to bring a soft counterpoint- -to the storage containers. just folded neatly. with the bathroom "must haves" taken care of,i start to work with some of the personal touches. flowers or plants are fantasticfor bringing freshness.

then i add some more personal elements, like say a favourite vintage box- -or a photo, whatever you like really. just leave room to pull out the items you useoften and keep to the same colour palette. a little adjustment here and there -and you're done! you can use the same method to workwith other colours and shelves. like crisp white and ocean blue. or natural elements and light wood. good luck with your beautifulbathroom display!
