BATHROOM STORAGE CABINET 12 DEEP

BATHROOM STORAGE CABINET 12 DEEP

- hi, guys, welcome back to my channel. today, i have a bit of adifferent video for you. i'm going to show you aroundour brand new family bathroom. basically, we recentlyhad our house extended from a three-bedroom to a four-bedroom because we had a third child. so, in that process, we hadto change our family bathroom layout and make it quite small. so many of you have askedwhere these tiles are from,

so i thought i would just showyou around and also show you our bathroom storage,in the process, so yeah, i hope you enjoy it. let's get into the video! yeah, so we ended up going forquite a traditional bathroom, like the fixtures are quitetraditional but with a modern twist, with a bit moreglitzy and glamorous tiles and light fixtures and things like that. because it is a smaller space,we spent a bit more money

on the tiles and, yeah, soi'll just show you around. sorry, i'm babbling already. i'll start it out here in the hallway. here is the bathroom andit actually used to go all the way over to this wall. but we had to make a hallwayhere to fraser's new room and then use up a little bit of this space from jackson's nursery. so that is how we worked out the bathroom.

and you walk in, and the first thing you will notice is this floor. these tiles, my husbandchose them from topps tiles and they are white andthey're actually part glass. so apparently, they were quite hard to cut and to be honest, we're kindof regretting having these because we feel like youcan see any speck of dirt on the floor when you're in here. it doesn't look too bad on the camera,

but i feel like it's alreadygetting a bit dirty between. if anyone knows of a reallygood cleaning product for grout, let me know in the comments. all of the tiles that are on the walls are also from topps tiles. i know so many of you haveasked me where they are from. i don't think it's reallypicking up on camera, but these have kind of like a pearlescent pinky, purply shine on them.

they're really, really shiny. and we decided to tilethe entire bathroom, which was a little bit moreexpensive but, as i said, 'cause it's such a small room, it works, and it's like this giant wet room. these little metro tiles,my husband chose as well. they're really, really cool, and they came on sheets of tiles. over here is the toilet, and we found this in b&q.

it's a little bit square, andit looks really, really nice. it was difficult to finda toilet that would fit this small area, becausethere is a pillar here that could not be moved. so we managed to get this toilet in, and it fits really, really well. there's obviously a footstooland stuff for the boys. this unit over here is from homebase, the sink and everything.

we really like the color, and it's kind of like a wood effect. above the sink is the mirror, and it goes right up to the ceiling, 'cause we wanted to make theroom look as big as possible. and matt actually hadthis mirror specially cut and measured and made, and thenthey just put it on the wall when they did the tiles. actually, i think matt may have

actually put it on the wall himself. here then next to themirror, we have two lights, these two that matt foundon a website called wayfair, which basically has loadsof different things on it. it's a little bit like etsy, and, yeah, we're really, really pleased with these. makes it look like a littlebit boutique-y and chic. and then, over here, iwill show you the rad, because i think it looks quite victorian.

yeah, so this is it here and, again, it was quite tricky to find a rad that wouldfit in this tiny space. it was really difficultto make everything fit. these towels are from cox & cox. i will put as many links asi can in the description bar below, but i wanted to show you these. i really liked that they were two-tone. here's one of the towels here. they're half pink and half gray,

and they're really nice quality. and here is our toiletroll holder from dunelms and our bin and brush which are from ikea. up here, there's a little elephant that holds the boys' toothbrushes. so they have electric toothbrushes, which they really love using, and frozen toothpaste. and i found this littleelephant on amazon. i thought it was really cool,

and the color goes with our bathroom. and basically any waterthat collects in there actually comes out of the trunk, so you don't get any water inside the cup, which i thought was quite cool. over here is the tap, andhere is the boys' soap. if you watch my cleaning routines, you'll know that i reallylove method products. this is green tea and aloe.

but what i really likeabout it for the boys is that it's a foaming wash. so i feel like it helpsthem wash their hands a bit. so when you do it likethat, it already comes out all foamed up, which i thinkis really nice for kids. right, while i'm over here, i'm gonna show you thestorage in this bathroom. there's not loads of storage, and we don't really need itbecause the boys are so young.

in the future, i'm wondering if we'll need loads of more products. i have no idea if boysare going to or not. but i'll show you what is under our sink. yeah, so over here, i havea few cleaning products. again, a method one that is wild rhubarb and smells so, so good, and it's anti-bacterial. and then a few othergeneral ones that you need. these are bath toys that theboys have had for so, so long.

they are skip hop cups, and the kids love them because they all havedifferent holes in the bottom, so different amountsof water will come out when you put water into them. and they've played withthese cups for so long, and i really like them because, you know some bath toys get really, really scummy, these never really have. you can just pop them in thedishwasher every now and then. to store our smaller bits,i got these two containers

from ikea, and i got thisone from the pound shop. this one just has allthe boys' flannels in it, so they're easy to access. here are all the boys' bath toys. some are disney, some are angry birds, some are just random. yeah, then, in this one,we have extra toothpaste, extra toothbrushes, we have our bin bags and a room spray and stuff like that.

so because this is a smallbathroom and there isn't loads of storage, we hung threehooks on the back of the door. one is an f and one is a c and one is a j, for fraser, caleb, and jackson. and i put their littlehooded towels on their hook. yeah, so i got theirhooded towels from next, and i really like thatthey're all matching and they came in all oftheir different sizes. so, you'll see fraser's isbigger and then there's caleb's

and then there's littlebaby jackson's one, as well. and we tiled right upthe side of the bath. pretty standard normal bath, i think, with jackson's little seat in it. and then yes, the fixtures arequite traditional, as i said. we have a rain one right overthe top but then also one that you can take off and use. at the moment, we don't have a glass door. because we bath the boys'cause they're so little,

we don't have one. but when they're olderand they're all showering, of course we're going toput on a glass door here. but, at the moment, for easyaccess, we do not have one. these two jugs i use forwashing the boys' hair. this one is from dunelms, and i like it because it's a little bit more stylish. although his one is alot more kid-friendly. it's from munchkin, and it'sreally, really soft plastic.

i just wish it came in a nicer color. and, over in thiscorner, we managed to get a really, really small, skinny window in. we didn't think we'd be ableto have a window at all, so it's a real result thatwe were able to fit one in. basically, our house endsjust next to the window, so we could only fit inthis tiny, skinny one, but it's great to be ableto open and let some air in, especially with three kids

are probably going to beshowering loads one day. yeah, and then, one of myfavorite things about whole room is this really glitzy light on top. and it's really, reallyglittery and silver and we really, really love it. and then we have that one and then we have to two spots over here. we also had a strip of ledlights put under the unit, there, so whenever the light goesoff, the leds come on.

so if the boys wake up at nightand need to find their way to the toilet, they caneasily use the toilet without being blinded by the lights. right, so that is it for this vlog. i really hope you liked itand found it interesting. i know this isn't likemy normal kind of vlog, but i hope you gotsomething from it anyway. give it a like if you did like it. i have a house tour coming up very soon.

the one last room tofinish is nearly done. so look forward to that. and i will see you in my next one. bye!
